The sophistication of Sasol Mining's health and safety measurement and analytics is clearly demonstrated on the walls of the 'Change Room'. And then what comes through is the power of a universally understood metaphor (as it is with football, so it is with life) when communicating with an audience of varied education - from limited to highly sophisticated. This is also an audience underpinned by the challenge of no common language. South Africa has no fewer than 13 official languages - although some are dominant. The actor here is a speaking in a mix of the main South African black languages of Zuly, Xhosa and Tswana with subtitles in English.
